On behalf of Somaliland National Disability Forum (SNDF), SNDF member organizations, and the people with disabilities (PWDs) in Somaliland, I have the great pleasure to send our earnest congratulations to our fellow Somaliland citizens on this momentous occasion of Somaliland’s 30th Anniversary in regaining independence 18 May 2021. We are highly grateful to the Somalilanders who are always dedicatedly celebrating their national anniversary; 18 May in the country’s different regions and in the various foreign countries in the world.
This national event is very momentous, and it’s one of the historic days in the history of Somaliland because of receiving independence and reassertion of the independence from the failed unity with Somalia, and consequently memorializing it is not only imperative for the preservation of our country’s history but also for the cause of Somaliland – the 30 years old campaign in seeking international recognition.
On this special day, I would like to wish the people of the Republic of Somaliland, success in their endeavors, happiness, peace and prosperity.
