Hargeisa, (SNDF) –Somaliland National Disability Federation (SNDF), a consortium of disabled people’s organizations in Somaliland in collaboration with National Disaster Preparedness and Food Reserve Authority distributed Ramadan food baskets to provide nutritional assistance to 200 families living with Visual, Hearing and Physical disability in Hargeisa.
Each food basket contains enough staple food items to help feed a family for about a month, and usually includes rice, flour, sugar, oil, canned foods, cheese, juices and dried legumes.
The food aid was donated by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) as part of its ongoing commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to people in need around the world.
The Executive Director of Somaliland National Disability Federation (SNDF), Mohamed Ahmed Essa, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and HRH the Crown Prince for their ongoing support for the disabled people of Somaliland. He expressed his appreciation for KSrelief’s efforts throughout Africa to provide urgent relief to disabled and vulnerable population groups.
KSrelief has implemented many relief and humanitarian projects in Somaliland as part of its mission to alleviate the suffering of all in need globally.
